Entry to Korea

For Non-Koreans to attend 7th COMPLEX PCI 2022 in Seoul, South Korea, valid passports and entry visas depending on one’s visa requirement should be acquired prior to entry to the country. Some countries may be on visa-free/waiver programs, but due to the pandemic, all international attendees are advised to contact the Korean Embassy or Consulate in their country to learn updated visa requirements before booking a flight or a room for the conference.

K-ETA

Nationals of 103 countries/regions visa-free entry need to apply for K-ETA in order to receive a boarding pass, and 'Priority Entry (Business) Persons' of 9 visa-free entry suspended countries/regions as an exception also can apply for K-ETA. Quarantine / Submission of COVID-19 (PCR) Test Result

With frequent changes in COVID-19 protocols and quarantine measures, we advise you to check the latest conditions from the Korean Embassy or Consulate prior to departure. Following information is only for reference and may not contain the current requirements.

  • From June 8 onwards, all overseas entrants will be exempt from isolation regardless of vaccination status and nationality. However, individuals who test positive for COVID-19 upon arrival will continue to be isolated.
  • COVID-19 testing requirement for overseas entrants to take tests both before and after entering the nation from abroad is still in place.
Before entry Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test within 48 hours or Supervised Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) within 24 hours
*Remote supervised ART/Tele-ART will not be accepted.
After entry PCR test within 3 days of entry
*It can be taken at Incheon Airport COVID-19 Testing Center or local hospitals.
These requirements may change, so please check with the local Korean Embassy or Consulate first before departure for the latest COVID-19 test/quarantine measures.

Once you are registered, you can go to My Info to download or print the documents you have requested. Please note that your full name, passport no., and address will be included in both documents along with the purpose and duration of the visit. Visa application process may vary depending on location, so contact or visit a local Korean Embassy or Consulate when applying.
