Visa Requirements

All visitors to Republic of Korea must have a valid passport and obtain a Korean visa before arriving. Depending on your nationality, a visa and required passport validity may vary. If you require a visa or uncertain as to the visa requirement for entry visa, please check with your local embassy or consulate to obtain the necessary documents before making travel arrangements.

Please be noted that due to COVID-19, entry restrictions of each country are being changed from time to time without pre-notice.

• Visa Waiver Agreement and Visa-Free Entry programs will be temporarily suspended.
• All Short-Term Visitor visas issued before 5th of April 2020 will no longer be in effect (Except for long-term visas, short-term employment C-4 visas).
• All participants who are holding passports that have been issued by Hubei Province, China and/or have visited Hubei province within 14 days from the arrival date are not permitted to enter.
• Visa exemption will be restricted for the Japanese passport holders.

• All the participants are required to self-quarantine for 14 days.
  1. South Korean nationals or foreign nationals of long-term stay
     : self-quarantine for 14 days
  2. Foreign nationals of short-term stay
     : quarantined at designated quarantine facilities for 14 days with own expense
  * You may be restricted from entering if you do not have a personal Korean phone number or do not install the required mobile app
